This is trick question i know it! The answer is 0. No man has ever given birth to a child and it is not likely to happen any time soon 🙂
If this is not a trick question, then I will assume you meant “man” as it is referred to in the bible…which means a person and in this instance can be a woman. In that case, people can give birth to very many children.
A question to you, what is the highest number of children has a single woman given birth to in her life time?
@224heaa29 Interesting question and responses 🙂 I will wear my demography hat now. Unfortunately, people who study populations do not give the number of children borne per woman, rather they compute a population average which is termed “fertility”. This thus makes it not possible to answer your question directly. In theory, a population of women aged 12-14 (when menarch starts) up to about 49 (menopause) and who do not use any artificial family planning methods can give birth to a maximum of 15 children each. The highest ever recorded fertility rate was 12 births per woman in the Hutterite community living in the USA. As to the highest number of children ever borne per woman, @JamesOtieno has thrown the ball back to your court, and I will do the same 🙂
