The voice box, scientifically called the larynx is made up of muscles and cartilages. It also has an extensive network of nerves that allows for sensory signals to be relayed. Do you know how many organisms have a voice box?
Quite a number including us humans. A larynx is also found in amphibians (e.g. frogs), reptiles (e.g. crocodiles) and mammals (e.g. apes, bats, humans etc)……
