@rosemary great question – something I am currently struggling with 🙂
One needs to exercise and have a healthy diet if they want to reduce or lose their body size (weight especially). I personally feel that is not enough to just exercise but you also have to watch what you eat, how much you eat and when you eat. Regular eating of small biting is good but also eating loads of fruits, vegetables (good for roughage) and hydrating.
My fellow scientist @Priscilla could shed more light as she exercises quite a bit (way more than me and has a smaller body size than me).
Melissa is right. I exercise quite a bit. I like jogging. It make you feel good, strong and fresh! And it keeps you healthy.
First I would like to say that big is beautiful. People should love their bodies and take good care of themselves by living a healthy life style. And people should not try to starve themselves to become skinny, that is not healthy. Having said that, extreme weight gain is not good. Overweight and obese people have many health risks and problems. To reduce body size, one has to change their lifestyle. Have a good exercise routine (at least 3 times a week), a more active lifestyle e.g. walking home from school, running err dans for your home, doing chores, eat healthy balanced diet during all meals (don’t skip meals), and drink lots of water ( avoid soda and sugary drinks). Try and manage stress because stress can contribute to weight gain. Get enough sleep.
