      @222heaa29 Condoms have a double sword: they prevent pregnancy by trapping male sperms during ejaculation, and also prevent the spreading of sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, syphyllis, gonorrhea, some forms of herpes, among others.

      In addition to response by Moses, condoms are effective in preventing sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy if worn well and used consistently.
