      Antioxidants are simply substances or chemicals that stop or prevent cell damage. This is praticularly important for stored food products in our body. Very good examples of antioxidants are vitamin C and E. That is why you need to make sure you get as much vitamin C and E as you can. Good sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges, green leafy vegetables and tomatoes. Good examples of food sources of vitamin E are nuts, vegetable oil, grains (wheat) and vegetables. However, nowadays drug companies are able to make tablets or pills that you can drink as antioxidants. BUT natural is always better don’t you think……
