      Rickets is a bone disease, mainly in children, that is caused by lack of vitamin D and calcium in the body. It can also be as a side effect of another health condition, or that “faulty” genes were transferred to the child. The easiest way to get vitamin D is… exposure to sun! Plus easting foods such as eggs and milk, which are rich in vitamin D.
