• Question: why are some people genious others are dull

      Personally I think we are all geniuses and there is no one individual that is more than another. Think of it this way, there is only one you in this world, so if you had to compare yourself, you need to compare with someone exactly like you. But there is no one exactly like you – you are one of a kind. There is no one out there that can do things the way you would do them. For example, I can definitely solve a maths equation but I can never sprint like Usain Bolt or even run like Dennis Kimetto (maybe in my dreams :-))

      I do not believe in the term dull as we are all differently “abled” or gifted. However, there is a “scientific” way in which one can claim to be a genius. This is called an intelligence quotient or IQ test. This is a relative “quantification” of how much one is intelligent. So if you took the test and got a very high score then you would be very intelligent. But this is based on a special test that asks particular questions. On the other hand, there are people who naturally score very highly on these tests and are called geniuses.
